The Orchestra, for all ages!
The Salle Philharmonique becomes the stage for five enchanting concerts on Sunday afternoons for children and their (grand)parents! Be amazed by performances specially conceived for 6–8-year-olds with the Pizzicato concerts, and discover the full orchestra in its finest repertoire with the Maestro concerts, presented (in french) by the delightful Adèle Molle for 9–12-year-olds.
[Pizzicato] Momo, born from a magical peach, sets out to face an ogre with the help of musical animals: a participatory and poetic show about friendship and otherness.
[Pizzicato] Childhood nursery rhymes revisited in a tender and playful concert where young and old sing together in colourful versions arranged by Jean-Pierre Haeck.
[Maestro] Discover as a family the extraordinary world of Gustav Mahler: folk dances, birdsong, military music. The richness of an entire universe within a single symphony.
[Maestro] What if a piano could tell stories? Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is revealed in a narrated concert: Les petits riens and Piano Concerto No. 20, in a journey designed by Adèle Molle.
[Pizzicato] At the Bazar Circus, an angry king banishes the troupe: between love, friendship, and madness, a colourful adventure driven by irresistible Slavic rhythms.
