Once upon a time... nursery rhymes
[Pizzicato] Eleven years after launching this project for both children and adults, six musicians of the Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège are delighted to return to the tender and familiar world of nursery rhymes. The programme features melodies hummed since childhood and well known by parents and children alike — Ah ! vous dirai-je, Maman ?, Les crocodiles, L’araignée Gipsy… Arranged in colourful chamber music versions, they will also invite the whole family to sing along on three of them with the ensemble. As a finale, Jean-Pierre Haeck, the talented arranger of this project, will present a musical pot-pourri bringing together other pieces from this joyful and timeless repertoire.
