Momo, the Peach Child
[Pizzicato] Step into the enchanting world of the children’s opera “Momo, the Peach Child.” Inspired by the Japanese tale Momotarō, this story follows the adventures of an extraordinary child, born from a magical peach, who embarks on a daring quest to find the ogre who has depopulated her village. Through encounters with a cast of whimsical animal musicians, our heroine discovers the importance of friendship and openness to others. The music of Haru Shionoya weaves connections between the characters, and also with the audience. A participatory performance rich in emotion and surprises, inviting both young and old to marvel together.
