The OPRL is organizing a recruitment audition for one Associate Principal Cello.

Practical information
- When: Friday, November 6, 2026 at 10:00 a.m (attendance required from 9.15 for the draw)
- Where : Salle Philharmonique de Liège (entrance 14, rue Forgeur - 4000 LIÈGE)

Remuneration
Monthly salary: from €4,227.27 gross.
Additional allowances: clothing allowance, audiovisual allowance, double holiday bonus.
Benefits: supplementary pension insurance (80% covered by the employer), guaranteed income insurance, 24/7 instrument insurance, reimbursement for instrument maintenance.
Auditions will consist of three rounds:
First round :
- HAYDN, Concerto in D Major, 1st movement (without cadenza)
- One or more orchestral excerpts or solo (chosen by the jury, taken from the list shown in round 3)
Second round :
1st movement (without cadenza) from one of the following concertos:

DVORAK, Concerto for Cello in B minor
-
SCHUMANN, Concerto for Cello
One or more orchestral excerpts or solo (chosen by the jury, taken from the list shown in round 3)
Third round :

- BEETHOVEN, Symphony n° 8
- DEBUSSY, The Sea
- MENDELSSOHN, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Scherzo
