Cuvée 1960

1960 was a very good year, not only for wine, but also for the OPRL! Not only was the Orchestra founded in 1960, but it is also the year of birth of two of its most valued members. This concert bids farewell to clarinetist Martine Leblanc and to trombonist Alain Pire, who will be retiring during the 25-26 season. These two musicians are joined by a pianist, a string quartet and the entire trombone and tuba section, in an extremely varied programme of works (including various tangos) by Dutch, German, Belgian, Argentinian, French, Spanish and Italian composers. The concert is presented by Hans Reul, musicologist, former BRF journalist and trombone player.
