The Nymphs' Concert
Two flutists from the OPRL are joined by harpist Primor Sluchin on a voyage to the land of Impressionism... in which the muses, deities and nymphs of Antiquity inspired the greatest artists. An odyssey to discover enchanting works by six French composers, all of which reveal the influence of ancient Greek myths, whether it is the god Pan, the nymphs Syrinx and Chloris or the Dryads, protectors of the forests. This concert features Noëmi Waysfeld, whose storytelling and singing talents will enhance the performance, particularly in Debussy's Chanson de Bilitis, with its erotic and passionate verses.
